Whole Wheat Sweet Potato Sticks














Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 C organic wheat berries
  • 1 1/2 C water
  • 1 medium sweet potato
  • 6 T raw sugar
  • 1 t sea salt
  • 1 t baking powder
  • 1 T black sesame seed
  • 1 t cinnamon powder

Directions
  1. Divide wheat berries into 2 batches and use Vitamix dry container to grind them into whole wheat flour. It took about 1 1/2 minutes each. 
  2. Microwave sweet potato for 7 minutes.  Keep skin.  Cut it into a few pieces.  Put them in Vitamix wet container, add water, and puree.
  3. Combine all ingredients and knead them into a dough.  
  4. Roll the dough flat and cut it into small strips.
  5. Bake or deep fry in peanut oil at 350F until golden brown.
